At Blackwater Bee Ranch, we are dedicated to providing high-quality honey and queen beeraising. Our mission is to promote sustainable agriculture and support local ecosystems through responsible beekeeping practices.
We are 4th Generation beekeepers who have operated Blackwater Bee for 10 years. This time in business, we have sold queens, #3 lb packages, nucs, hives and honey.
In 2024, we were devastated by Hurricane Helene that costs us some 1200 hives. We were hit harder in 2025 via an accident that costed Al his right leg and almost his life. Being down in midseason also costs us hundreds of hives and over 1000 customers.
It is with regret that we announce we will only sell nucs, queens and honey this year and that our nucs and hives will not be available.
